A
3D shoe model can be graded to all sizes from a base size.
In the past, engineers first graded a base size of a 3D
CAD shoe model to a different size. Since the shoe model
became disproportionate after grading, the engineers had
to correct or modify a certain area of the shoe model to
meet a client's needs. Tasks such as fixing the thickness
of shoe components, fixing the sidewall thickness, fixing
geometric shapes, and using shared components required large
labor costs and time. In addition, because of the complexity
of the grading and modifying process, the quality of the
3D CAD model for each shoe size was inconsistent.
ShoeWizard
imports a base size of a shoe model and then, according
to the settings, fixes or grades certain areas or components
of the shoe model. 3D shoe sole models of a complete range
of shoe sizes are thus automatically created. Labor and
time are largely reduced.
